Glory Heart Game, Session 2

The last thing you remember is seeing Glory collapsed on the ground. Your head is foggy and spinning, and it takes a moment to regain enough focus to notice that there's actual fog around you, too. The mist is so thick you can barely see your own feet, though there seems to be solid ground underneath them, at least.

After a moment you hear a voice. It sounds like Glory, although it's oddly flat, even for her.

You shouldn't linger here... This isn't a place you can be. Unfortunately, the only way out is through. I can pull it together enough for you to work with.

[well, raven's more or less committed to not wearing the gloves, for better or worse, so he's going to remove the padlock bare-handed and open the chest to take a look inside]

Opening the chest bare-handed also doesn't seem to have any effect.

Once open, it is obvious that the chest is a sex/BSDM toybox. There are a lot of things in there, but the ones that specifically seem to draw your attention are dildos, leather restraints, a strap-on harness, a blindfold, dyed cotton rope, and an ornate switchblade.

Raven will recognize the switchblade as the one Nero gave her to start her recreational knife collection, and color of the rope as her teal—she has used similar ropes many times before, including to tie him up most recently. The harness and dildos might also look familiar. The restraints and the blindfold don't look like anything specific he would recognize.

When you touch the knife, you feel an intense fondness, deeper in your chest than it seems like should be possible, a surprised appreciation, and an unfamiliar sense of optimism.

When you touch the dildos, you feel even more horny—and a bit sad, and frustrated. aimless, desperate but unsure what you're desperate for, exactly.

When you touch the rope, you feel strong sense of identity, and a sense of that identity being appreciated... that you're a little confused about, but absolutely confident in. And still horny.

When you touch the strap-on harness, you feel... enlightened. The feeling of having comprehended something you previously were not even sure you were capable of comprehending, and which you still probably couldn't put to words. But you Get It now.

The nook is a comfortable corner with built-in shelves and an oversized armchair.

Only the middle shelf has BOOKS. On the top shelf, there are a variety of PLUSHES AND DOLLS, and the bottom shelf has a nondescript FILING BOX.

but if Vergil has a task for him, it surely must be one of import. SO… bullet dodged. hello nook]

[Oops that was reflexive and he didn't actually mean to say that. He revises his approach to something more superficially polite, as he sets down the chest he's been carrying around.]

I think we've got plenty of material from the bedroom and kitchen. Are you still working on this place?
