The last thing you remember is seeing Glory collapsed on the ground. Your head is foggy and spinning, and it takes a moment to regain enough focus to notice that there's actual fog around you, too. The mist is so thick you can barely see your own feet, though there seems to be solid ground underneath them, at least.

After a moment you hear a voice. It sounds like Glory, although it's oddly flat, even for her.

You shouldn't linger here... This isn't a place you can be. Unfortunately, the only way out is through. I can pull it together enough for you to work with.

Dolls?

[He glances up at them, trying to determine what they're dolls of.]

Do you think they'll be useful?

The dolls are a teddy bear, a porcelain doll, a black cat, and three matching plush men, dressed as a nurse, a doctor, and a patient. Everyone here can probably recognize them as Dante, Vergil, and Raven, respectively.

[Oh. Sure there's the boys but - hey wait, does he know that cat? He's going to touch the cat, picking it up off the shelf.]

It is a small and cute black cat with mischievous-looking eyes. It was a contribution to Raven's plush cat collection, if Vergil would recognize that.

Touching it, you immediately feel a rush of happy warmth, tinged with surprise. The happiness lingers in a way that feels unexpected, bright and humming in your mind.

[He thought maybe it was Shadow... But this is good too! He smiles to himself. It's coming along too.]

[He hasn't taken a look at them yet either, eyes glazed right over it...]

I suppose just about everything is, but it seemed the least interesting.

[pointing up at the DANTE VERGIL RAVEN dolls]

We should at least grab her husband for love, right?

[Oh. Don't look directly at the surely insufferable Dante face.]

That's true, good catch.

[He collects it, but he keeps the gloves on for it.]

When you try to pick Raven up, Vergil and Dante come too, their arms sewn lightly together. It seems they are a set.

[Ew. Maybe we can cut Dante off.]

Well. Close enough. Unless you need me, I suppose I'll take Nero with me to that tent. Don't open that chest up in here.

What? We're going to set it by the door for safekeeping.

[does not immediately understand why they should be not opening it. THEY NEED TO OPEN IT TO PUT THINGS IN. FOR STORAGE. SILLY]

[Though how they're going to keep him from seeing when they arrange things...... We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

But he's also going to take the doujin from out of his coat and try to discreetly pass it to Ford. For the chest.]

[no he's pointing it out now, as he grabs the doujin and looks down at it, with much less discretion]

If we're going to pick one doujin specifically let's say it is this one.

[He lowers his voice, flicking his tail against Ford's leg. Please Nero don't notice him flirting,]

[He jolts—he was red-faced already looking at the doujin, but it's more obvious now that he's looking up to face Vergil again.]
